In this role, I am a Lead Mechanical Engineer primarily supporting our Nuclear Utility clients in the Nuclear Power Generation division as a Design Engineer but have been supporting the Procurement Engineering team on an as-needed basis and have worked with our other Enercon clients as both a Design and Procurement Engineer.As a Procurement Engineer, I am responsible for maintaining the design of the plant by evaluating new components for Safety and Non-Safety Related use through review and adherence to site specific documentation including, but not limited to, evaluations, calculations, design specifications, etc. Additionally, I have created Safety Related Procurement Engineering evaluations under a 10CFR50 Appendix B program as a Commercial Grade Dedicated product.As a Design Engineer, I have worked on several different projects to provide input on Engineering Change documentation which evaluated changes to the site for permanent and long-term temporary installation.

In this position, I evaluate information to enhance procedures for installing commercial grade items within nuclear power plant fleet. I manage 50+ projects annually to implement failure mode effects and analysis. My common tasks include applying hazard modeling techniques to mitigate risks and defining areas for cost reductions. I identified material expenditures savings of $500K annually. I also oversee training for 36 co-workers, three managers, and one director on procurement methods and processes.
