I am an accomplished innovator and champion of continuous improvement across industries and technologies. I have been fortunate to collaborate on projects that led to inventions, new process commercialization and new product introductions. I am passionate about optimizing processes and products to improve product quality and yields by utilizing data analysis, root cause analysis, and lean manufacturing methodologies. I am motivated to positively impact an organization’s ability to compete, grow, and sustain employment opportunities for those organizations. I am looking for a new opportunity with an organization where I can apply my skills to support their mission.Accomplishments:At 3M, I collaborated with a team that investigated methods to apply functional topcoats to enhance existing products. This work led to the team inventing a new process that created product enhancements that enabled the company to better compete and respond to the voice of our customers. I led the technical transfer and commercialization of this new technology into production on schedule. 3M identified me as an “innovator” for these accomplishments.In my first seven months at Imation, I proposed a capital improvement plan to fully qualify and implement a new technology to enable the sale of one million data cartridge units in six months to exceed a critical customer’s expectation. I was awarded a corporate achievement award.At ZPower, our very collaborative engineering teams successfully launched and supported new to market rechargeable silver-zinc battery technology and manufacturing (in California!). Our customers included major hearing aid manufacturers like Starkey, Oticon, and others.
