Following the Kraton acquisition of Arizona I was chosen to create a combined Quality organization for the whole company, leading a culture change to focus on quality assurance and continuous improvement. I had the opportunity to work in Germany for a few years, initially in the South where I completed a site closure project, then at the Kleve site as a project engineer during a period of significant which was being heavily investment.

I began my career working as a process and project engineer at the adhesive factory in Slough. I quickly got exposure to leadership as a maintenance team leader then production manager. I led the production team through a period of investment, where we added capacity, improved automation, introduced a product line requiring hygienic standards. We added additional shifts, and I hired and trained the technicians. I also acted as a technical liaison between US R&D and a key toller in the UK, who produced a key product line hot melt poly urethane.
