In this role, I will be overseeing Helm's Global Agriculture business, a sector that is both challenging and rewarding.The Crop Solutions business unit encompasses a wide range of products and services, including crop nutrition, crop protection, biological solutions, and digital agriculture. Each of these areas plays a crucial role in our mission to increase yield to feed a growing population and have a positive impact on the planet. I am excited to embark on this journey, and I look forward to contributing to the growth and success of Helm AG. Vice President, Crop Protection – Winfield United, held P&L accountability Crop Protection business (CPP) including Herbicide, Insecticide, Fungicide, Seed Treatment, Adjuvants, Micronutrients, Plant Growth Regulators, and Bio Stimulants with primary focus on improving profitability. Provided leadership for marketing, sales and field employees.

Vice President of International Partnerships and General Manager for the joint venture between Land O'Lakes and Villa Corp Protection, Johannesburg, South Africa. Accountable for P&L management, sales, marketing, product development, and product registration, managed team of South African employees.

Held P&L responsibility Crop Protection business with oversight of marketing and loyalty programs and pricing. Provided leadership for Regional Marketing Managers and field staff. Led Winfield annual go to market planning process across seed, CPP, and agricultural technology. Used cross-functional teams to effectively identify annual strategic imperatives, develop goals, metrics and tactics, and measure progress.

Led overall marketing effort for Mycogen Seeds. Accountable for $175M in hybrid grain corn revenue.Chaired Corn Product Development Team responsible for hybrid advancement and portfolio management. Increased adoption of triple/quad trait stacks of corn hybrids from 23% to 60+% of portfolio in two years.

Managed sales team of 12 Sales Representatives, Technical Representatives, and Account Managers in the Northeast United States. Grew corn revenue 54% from $14.9M to $22.9M. Developed and implemented channel segmentation approach to increase Sales Rep effectiveness. Top rated District Sales Manager in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Led all warehouse, customer service, and logistics functions for seeds business in the USA. Managed team of 30 employees and a multi-million dollar budget. Led project team in selection and implementation of 3PL, reducing freight cost while maintaining high service level. Consolidated corn warehouses from eight to four sites via capacity improvements at remaining locations. Top rated Operations Manager in 2002.

Managed multiple Six Sigma projects across the enterprise. Led six projects with savings of $5.5M. Trained and coached 21 Green Belt team members on projects. Top rated Black Belt globally in Plant Genetics and Biotechnology. Gained Black Belt certification through Dow Chemical.
