Director, Business Development Oem Global Parts & Accessories
CurrentAs the Business Development Director, I have overall responsibility for the JD Power OEM digital and e-commerce portfolio of products for parts & accessories. I am responsible for growing the business and managing the product road map. I oversee, manage and develop a team of National Field Account Managers and help them deliver ongoing customized training & support to our OEM clients across the US. I work onsite with vendors, OEM clients, and dealers to identify business requirements, drive product optimization and strategy, support the solution design, solve business & technical issues and deliver products that exceed client expectations. I emphasize the importance of team collaboration and being viewed as trusted partners to help launch, grow and sustain the OE parts and accessory business for our clients. This philosophy not only allows for our clients to exceed their revenue growth goals but also for my team to achieve or exceed our JD Powers revenue goals.Key Responsibilities:• Work with internal teams to assess client needs and drive design solutions for product development• Manage the current team of Field Account Managers and work with Human Resources to grow this department through recruitment, selection and training efforts• Establish and communicate individual and team objectives; assist team members to achieve goals by providing coaching and mentorship in regular one-on-one discussions• Facilitate ongoing team meetings to discuss best practices and share success stories and lessons learned• Create and deliver in person presentations for clients regarding product sales and delivery• Own the client and vendor relationships, manage the day-to-day client related operational aspects of each project• Maintain an ongoing, clear and reasonable vision of 'next steps' and the 'big picture' with each client, own the product road map and help grow the overall business• Provide ongoing reporting with supporting metrics and KPIs
