 Drill and Blast Supervisor – Responsible for supervising all aspects of pit drill, blast and dewatering; calculating and maintaining annual budget; designing blasting parameters; initiating and maintaining environmental auditing system for drill and blast operations; training and assisting engineering department in short range planning and water management committee in aspects of ammonia control and pore pressure response of pit water; developing training seminars for blasters, engineers and geotechnical personnel; managing all drill and blast subcontractors; daily toolbox and weekly safety meetings for pit personnel; and acting as open pit shift boss for load and haul operations as required.

 Drill and Blast Supervisor – Responsible for supervising drill and blast crews; managing all blasting operations; developing blasting parameters including production blast designs, wall control, initiation sequences, multi-deck and multi-product usage; controlling secondary blasting including work inside hoppers, avalanche control and spillways from tailings dams for mine reclamation and abandonment; training engineers and supervisors in drill and blast operations; ordering consumables and tracking annual budget; managing bulk explosive subcontract; and regular safety and daily toolbox meetings.  Pit Shift Boss – Responsible for supervising pit operations including crew using a wide variety of heavy equipment; ensuring all health, safety, environmental and reclamation policies were followed; meeting daily plant feed and production targets; and regular safety and daily toolbox meetings. Service Crew Supervisor – Responsible for supervising site services (waste and water management, mine tailings control and sediment ponds) crew; maintaining 25 km highway for ore haul to load out facility; and managing special projects utilizing a large fleet of heavy equipment.  Reclamation Supervisor – Responsible for directing the re-sloping, mud capping, and seeding of mine dumps and tailing dams; creating new wildlife habitat; and managing contaminated earth land farming issues. Chief Blaster and Leadhand – Responsible for supervising pit production blasting, wall control, specialty blasting and avalanche control; setting up and initiating rock bolting and drain hold system for pit final walls; developing blast design standards, control loading operations and blast timing sequences; and training engineers and supervisors in blasting procedures.
