One of my favorite things about the oil and gas world is being able to be part of a team environment. It means a lot to me for others to count on me and vise versa. Whether that was installing production surface equipment as a roustabout in the beginning, then eventually leading my crew. Being a well tender/pumper or coming to the fracking side to gain experience in that area.I could fill this summary with all the physical things I've learned, from threading pipe to diagnosing and solving issues causing a well to load up, learning about motors and pump curves or line locating. But the most important thing to me has always been the people I work with. Showing genuine respect goes a long way and there's to much information in the world for one person to know. That doesn't ever have to be intimidating because even though you may not know something, more than likely you know someone that does if you have built those relationships. You show your team that you're there for them no matter what and they trust and respect you as a person, there's nothing you can't figure out and accomplish together. It's never just one person that builds success in a business or our personal lives. It's the people around us and the relationships we have with them that is most important.
