The Future of Modern Golf flows through NextLinks.Our first commercial success was achieved in October 2018 thanks to a public-private partnership with The City of Indian Wells and the creation of Shots in the Night, a nighttime golf experience powered by NextLinks software.We exist to grow the game of traditional golf using innovative technology and non-traditional engagement as our vehicle.David Shultz, a veteran technologist whose experience includes enlistment in the U.S. Navy where he worked as an electronics technician for avionics systems on A6E and F-18A jets. Following the Navy, he attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and studied electronic engineering, where he graduated summa cum laude.He held key roles in manufacturing operations and technology development globally within aviation, oil&gas, and energy sectors beginning at Bently Nevada Corporation, a world-class company specializing in rotating machinery dynamics. In 2002, Bently was sold to General Electric (GE) where Dave worked in several different divisions including GE Sensing and GE Aviation, and was accountable for products in the critical delivery path for Boeing’s 787 program among many other challenges.Shultz, an avid golfer and enthusiast, dedicated his life to his career and family, and like most busy golfers, his handicap suffered. Without enough time to play golf and seeing the new flourishing driving range options like Top Golf that were fun but uninspired. This was his aha moment, as he came up with the idea of integrating virtual play into a screen with real play, on real greens. In 2015 he combined his engineering experience with his passion for golf to launch NextLinks, an experience that is driven by proprietary software that seamlessly blends golf simulator play with realistic short game shots and putting on an expertly designed putting greens.Market conditions are perfect, as is our preparation to take advantage of them.NextLinks is The Future of Modern Golf.
