I am a construction professional with over 17 years of experience in bid build and design build delivery methods for the Owner, General Contractor, Subcontractor, and Consultant. I have held senior positions including Vice President, Project Director, and Senior Project Manager for civil infrastructure Contractors in Western Canada. My experience has been gained over a wide variety of projects. I have worked as a labourer, tradesperson, project team member, leader, and senior person in charge. In all cases, I have demonstrated an understanding of the fair and cooperative approach required when balancing the interests of Project Stakeholders. I have developed a reputation for being detail oriented, organized, efficient, and economizing. I consider myself to be an asset to any project team and project stakeholder group. Over the years, I have developed extensive experience with the full life cycle of a construction project from project pursuit to project completion. I am knowledgeable and experienced with cost estimating, project planning and scheduling, project budgeting and cost control, risk identification and mitigation, change management, claims, and dispute resolution including negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation. I also have experience working with Surety’s on Contract defaults, performance bond claims, and labour and material payment bond claims.
