Developed Ford’s 1st side impact airbags for South American Operations. Vehicle launched globally with no issues. • Negotiated ED&T savings of $5.1 million on all restraint’s components for global South American program.• Exceeded TGW objective by 2 basis points to meet stretch objectives by updating springs in retractors. • Managed three programs developing Side Airbags (SAB) and Curtain Airbags (CAB) while mentoring successor. • All SAB and SAC systems launched were below costs targets and had no field issues.
