CurrentProduct, Lifecycle Management, and Digital Thread are both about product information management from proposal to disposal. I started my career, as the Lead Engineer in charge of the structural design for the center fuselage on the C-17 and then lead the structural-mechanical thermal control system on International Space Station before fully understanding how the impact a digital information management system could be leveraged through out the lifecycle of a product, from winning bids to virtual simulations for customers.As the PLM & DT Director for Raytheon I worked primarily with PTC and other aerospace and defense contractors to create the vision, strategy and implementation a single instance, PDM/PLM system at Raytheon supporting over 33,000 users (primarily design, manufacturing, supply chain and quality assurance)
