I am responsible for management and delivery of HSE's Facilities major property events programme and Information Technology Modernisation programme, with a small team of five project managers and five project co-ordinators.The facilities programme includes major office moves across the UK and the re-shaping of HSE's accommodation within the government hub building in Bootle, Redgrave Court.Under the IT modernisation programme I have managed the replacement of all mobile phones (moving from Blackberry to Apple) and desk-based telephony (from landlines to Voice over IP) across HSE's offices in the UK; deployed W10 virtual desktop across the estate, migrating staff from Windows 7 to Windows 10; replaced all local office based printing services with card verified follow-me printing and started introducing WiFi across HSE's estate.

I completed the initial programme of work to explore the replacement options for HSE's main operational information system, involving researching market options to meet our operational business processes.

I managed HSE's operational information service team and operational database support team. This included providing information and briefings for external requests for information from the public and members of parliament.I improved the provision and consistency of this operational information through introducing Qlikview software into HSE; greatly reducing the time taken to retrieve information, providing new insights into our operational work and reducing the business risks arising from variable extraction and interpretation of this information.

I managed the specification, development and testing of HSE’s new Operational Information system unifying 12 disparate legacy systems.I implemented and further developed this system for 2,700 staff undertaking inspection, enforcement and permissioning activities.
