• Responsible for coaching and developing all on site teams to enable SHEQ Compliance to internal and external standards• Raising and rectifying issues across all SHEQ disciplines• Ensuring standards are in place and adhered to• Maintaining compliance and driving improved standards and culture across the site• Proactively target and achieve measurable improvements • Ensuring legal compliance of site activities are in place with clear evidence of conformity • Communicating and change in legislation or SHE policies to all site responsible persons via CEDREC, the Marshalls Group IMS manual or HSPD refresh• Ensuring the site meets all ISO management systems and standards • Conducting site Quality Audits, reporting findings with recommendations to Site Operations Managers• Attending management meetings and reporting on the sites performance against set SHEQ KPI’s• Attending all internal and external site audits and liaising with appropriate bodies (HSE, LA and EA) • Supporting the management teams and SHE advisors in relation to all SHEQ activities and safety alerts • Acting as the first point of contact for all customer complaints using an RCA approach to ensure satisfactory investigation and put measures in place to prevent repeat issues• Supporting the development and implementation of RAG standards, making critical processes and checks visible to all• Ensuring QC standards are adhered to and maintained on site • Maintaining relationships with Union Representatives and supporting concerns as required• Liaising with Regional Managers to improve compliance and to identify opportunities to improve quality, reduce risk and reduce cost

• This role incorporates all the duties as detailed of the Site Trainer, Training Coordinator.• Liaise with Colleges for the employment of Apprentices in Engineering.• Liaise with external training provider to train Operatives to become Technical Operators.• A Member of the Senior Management Team.• A key Member of a Marshalls Group project Team for the reduction in accident, damage and to implement safety systems for mobile plant.• Ensure sites are legally compliant on all training requirements.• Guide Departments in utilisation of personnel and equipment.• Guide on Manual Handling Risk Assessments.

• Re-write all SSOP’s to be able to be used as training documents.• Designed and introduced a documented four stage training program to prove competence.• Introduce individual training files for all personnel.• Designed, introduced and maintain Training Matrices for all personnel.• Helped the St Ives site to gain Investors in People.• Cover for the SHE Administrator when not on Site.• Have a major role in all aspects of Health & Safety.• Attend Management meetings.• Attend SHIP Team Meetings• Design all Training presentations. • Plan, coordinate and implement all training requirements both internal or external for 200+ employees.• Complete set KPI’s• Instruct and Examine to ITSSAR standards on numerous subjects.• Train in numerous subjects on Health and Safety.• Enter and update completed training onto IMS system and file paperwork.• Major Involvement in Accident investigations.• Site First Aider and Fire Marshall.• Aid other sites training requirements in the Southern region (6 sites including: - Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, Kent, Hampshire, Gwent, Somerset).• In 2012 I was assigned to take on all the training requirements on a permanent basis at the Bedfordshire site as well as the St Ives Site.• Liaising with departments Managers• Liaising with external training providers• Carry out all Site Inductions• Involved in all audits including internal, external including BSI.• In 2013 set up a Team Leader Management training program to Level 3 ILM with an external supplier.
