Working in the Manufacturing Office, I would plan the loading for the 15 In-house CNC Machines to ensure product was available in time for the Customer. My job role also Included;Purchasing the necessary tooling and inserts so the parts could be produced efficiently. I also instigated a holding stock on all commonly use tools/inserts to eliminate or minimise any down time on the machines.Purchasing the raw materials (Steels/Brass/Aluminiums) in there correct specification for the parts to be produced froma list of Approved UK Suppliers.Purchase the machine/workshop consumables for the Best Price possible and ensure these were always available. Arranged for the Annual Servicing contracts on all the CNC Machines along with any other Plant/Machinery (Compressors/Fork Lift/Heating Units) ensuring all necessary documentation was completed.
