Over 25 years Operations & Maintenance experience gained in various types of Power stations. Blowing & Generating Stations at British Steel, CCGT & Fluid Bed Technology at Slough Heat & Power and most recently 535Mw Coal/Biomass fired units at Aberthaw Power Station. Since 1988 I have held a posts responsible for line Management. I am commercially aware, familiar with BETTA , REMIT and used to the responsibility of commercial decision making paying due regard to technical and operational difficulties and risk mitigation. I have a passion for heavy Engineering environments,enjoy problem solving and have a proven record of delivering solutions. I have a Team Centred, approachable Management style and a dedication to life long learning and the development of others that builds trust, generates motivation, commitment and gets the best out of the Teams I manage.
