I progressed to a crane operator role - I was managing the storage of materials safely and ensuring all lifting operations were completed safely. I was also a telehandler driver when the crane was no longer required on site. During my time at LNT I also completed other tasks such as patch plastering and general snagging. Whilst working with LNT I obtained the following tickets: slinger/signaller (CPCS), tower crane operator (CPCS), telescopic handler (CPCS).

My role with LNT was very varied I was initially employed as a labourer and then progressed to a slinger/signaller where my duties were to ensure all the lifting equipment was certified and safe to use. I worked also as traffic marshall, I had to signal traffic in and out of site to ensure the safety of the deliveries and my colleagues. Whilst working with LNT I obtained the following tickets: slinger/signaller (CPCS), tower crane operator (CPCS), telescopic handler (CPCS).

Drylining and skimming new build properties, I worked as part of a team of 3 in and around the South Birmingham and Worcester area on various types of buildings both domestic and commercial. Whilst working with this team I learnt the plastering trade.
