David is bilingual (Russian and English), and has 15 years of experience living in the Russian Federation, working in areas of language translation, language education, program management and business projects. David works well with others in a creative environment, contributing ideas and inspiring others (and being inspired by others!). David has extensive experience as a DSO (Designated School Official), working with foreign nationals applying for F-1 status. David has in depth knowledge of SEVIS policy and procedures relating to F-1 applicants and students, including those policies and procedures related to change of status, transfer students, reinstatement of F-1 status and the laws regarding maintaining lawful F-1 status. David has also tremendous experience in student recruitment, working with agencies overseas, including Kazakhstan, Spain and the Russian Federation. David is also invaluable to proprietary schools and programs from his experience in the accreditation process and accreditation standards for ILPs and proprietary schools (ACCET and CEA), as well as New York State Department of Education license requirements for vocational schools and ESL programs (NYSED-BPSS). David's career has given him extensive experience in overseeing training, student placement testing, progress evaluation and curriculum development for ESL programs in the US. David also has had several years experience in staff and faculty supervision, professional development of faculty, faculty hiring and recruitment.
