Responsible for the maintenance and development of the sites quality management system. A strategy to deliver continuous improvement was underpinned with a ‘right first time ‘ approach. Significantly reduced non conformance and made process improvements, all of which contributed to the reduction of the overall cost of quality. Raised awareness and embedded the company’s quality policy into our culture, by engaging everyone with performance KPI’s and sharing our successes.

Worked closely with the site and quality manager, and supported the wider team during the implementation of our new MIS, focusing on the sites quality management system.

Covered several accounts during my time here. Although repro QC, I would work closely with the artwork team to feedback any internal issues, identify trends and aim reduce rework between departments.

Supplying foil and embossing dies to the print industry. I implemented the transition from traditional processes to digital which improved the quality of the end product, and streamlined the whole business at the front end. I was also involved in the introduction to CNC engraving,reducing the dependence for external suppliers, which increased profit and kept us aligned with our competitors.

Also fully qualified planner plate maker during this time. Creating artwork and reprographics both manually on film, and digitally on Mac. Discovered time saving practices which were put forward to reduce press down time and improve quality.
