Responsible for all staff in the Technical Services team (to 3rd line support) & Applications Support team and for ensuring highest possible client service levels are maintained. Responsible for ensuring IT are fully supportive of the company’s Business Continuity plans and undertake regular ITSC exercises. Part of the IT management team providing strategic direction for the department. Responsibility for all data warehousing, data integrity and reporting across the business using SSIS, SSAS and SSRS within SharePoint. Represent IT department on UKME Business Standards and Performance Board. Provide leadership and technical guidance to the Service Desk manager and the Service Desk team.

Leading a team of IT Analysts supporting the core company infrastructure and all business critical applications in a primarily Windows based virtualised environment (VMware, Citrix, Windows Server, Exchange). To ensure that IT solutions are delivered and maintained, software applications being leveraged and supporting business processes. Responsibility to provide all 2nd and 3rd line support services by following ITIL. To implement software projects, applications upgrades and enforce business process where necessary. Ensure IT service continuity plans are in place and tested regularly.

Initially an eProcurement consultant but the role became more technical to cover implementation and integration of the Proactis P2P application and Infor Sun Systems. Working significantly in the sectors of Oil & Gas (London, Geneva, Lagos) and banking sector (London, Utrecht) responsibilities were to investigate, define, document and deliver integration between the financial applications.
