I have extensive experience in Lean Manufacturing implementation, Continuous Improvement Program development/deployment and have spent the last 15 years teaching and transforming manufacturing processes through hands on leadership. I began my professional career in manufacturing when I was introduced to the Toyota Production System over 25 years ago while working at the Toyota Manufacturing facility in Cambridge, Ontario. My roles and responsibilities grew progressively during my tenure with the organization from a production line Team Member in the weld shop, through to a leadership position in the Training and Development department. I was given the opportunity to demonstrate my ability to manage, mentor and motivate the production management team when I was appointed the Kaizen Circle (Continuous Improvement) Program Coordinator for over five years. Since leaving Toyota I have pursued my passion and honed my skills as a Lean Change Agent, transforming traditional operations into Lean Production Processes. Through my Lean Consulting business, I have successfully led a diverse range of organizations through complete Lean transformations. I bring to the table advanced academic training in Lean Manufacturing (Toyota Production System) as well as vast experience within Operations/Production Management, Project Oversight, as well as Team Empowerment and Change Leadership. I possess a unique blend of business experience and technical know-how, providing me with comprehensive business solutions that improve both financial and operational performance.
