• My primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the plant manufacturing operations to include: production quotas and analysis, quality control, scheduling of raw materials, equipment trouble shooting.
• Maintains the highest standard of quality and safety in all areas of production from manufacturing to shipment.
• Oversees efficient plant operations related to production and scheduling.
• Manages the schedule and performance of production maintenance.
• Ensures that the plant maintains proper stock inventories. (raw materials, machinery/vehicle parts, etc.).
• Holds operation meetings that relate to overall plant goals to include: production efficiency, vehicle operations, staffing safety, environmental compliance and facility maintenance.

Mccoig Concrete

• Responsible for production of quality ready mix concrete in accordance with required mix specifications.
• Managing the day-to-day functions of the plant yard.
• Perform opening, startup and shutdown of batch plant.
• The batch man / maintenance personnel were called upon to work extensive overtime as weather and business conditions warrant.
• Interacting regularly with dispatchers, haulers, drivers, customers, operations, production and quality control personnel.
• Daily inspection of entire plant facility.

Mccoig Concrete

• Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Recommends measures to improve production, equipment performance and product quality
• Properly document preventive and corrective work activity on a daily basis utilizing the computerized maintenance management system
• Prioritize competing demands – follow up on work completion
• Performs other miscellaneous mechanical and maintenance duties as assigned
• Follows established traffic patterns avoiding tire hazards and other hazardous conditions

Mccoig Concrete

Responsible for safely transporting freshly mixed concrete from the Batch Plant to the job site and is accountable for all duties of the position. Responsible for making normal operating adjustments to the equipment and material being hauled (i.e. slump on concrete).
