The end goal of a great product management team is to ensure that there is sufficient inventory, correctly timed to market with the right pricing model to help sell at the highest levels possible. The product management team works to ensure the following:- Maximize utilization and ensure optimal rates to drive best revenue outcomes- Understand and forecast additional product needs- Ensure the correct levels of product are available within regions/ markets- Manage all aspects of the product lifecycle from acquisition to end of life of all products in the rental fleet- Improve ROI by ensuring the lowest possible acquisition costs and the optimal levels of preventative/ scheduled maintenance and the costs associated with maintaining equipment- Make determinations on necessary product end of life decisions and manage processes including the sale/ auction/ disposal of end of life assets- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure design changes are executed to improve safety/ functionality of our equipment

I oversee a team of purchasing professionals, who work with our local and national vendors to procure the best goods and services at the lowest cost to our company. We contract with national vendors who manufacture and produce various goods and services in addition to buying raw materials for our own production centers.
