I currently manage a 2.7 million bu. capacity Grain & Farm Supply Coop in North Central Kansas with sales in excess of $35 Million. I personally Merchandise over 3 Million bushels of grain received annually and purchase and sell the bulk fertilizer we handle. I manage 16 employees, 3 of which report directly to me. Our Agronomy Dept. is a full service unit with Ag Chemicals, Dry & Liquid Fertilizer, Ag Lime, Custom Application & Soil Sampling. We offer a full line of Bulk, Tote, Box and Bag Syngenta & Triumph seed products along with other specialty seed offerings. We also have a small Grind & Mix Feedmill to provide feed to local livestock feeders. Our Cooperative has been in business for over 111 years servicing Producers in North Central Kansas.

I supervised 9 MKC Locations with approximately 70 employees. We originated, stored and shipped 6 different grains. We sold Ag Chemicals, provided Custom Application and sold Petroleum & Lubricants on the farm. We also had 2 Service Stations providing automotive supplies and consumer goods. In addition, I managed Safety services for 36 MKC Locations, providing on-going safety training and made facility safety inspections with location managers.

I called on 111 Local Coop Managers from Central Kansas into Eastern Colorado to secure grain origination for sales to end users of flour mills and export channels. I also obtained grain pricing, crop size and problem settlement issues. I conducted Merger studies beetween Coops and provided feasibility studies for new acquisitions. Additionally, I provided grain market training to Coop Producers to improve their grain returns.
