Experienced Electrical Distribution Network Designer and Project Manager with a demonstrated 10 year history of designing and managing Network extensions in the Mackenzie and South Canterbury and Mid Canterbury areas. This including major subdivisions, tourist hotel sites, significant irrigation projects, a region wide network of electric vehicle chargers, a network owned data center, new network HV feeders and substation upgrades.I have taken ownership of a diverse range of complex projects and challenges. Before that I owned and managed an Electrical Contracting business for 10 years. I am skilled in Project Management, setting scopes of work for tenders, obtaining pricing and quotes for customers and being the point of contact between Customers, Contractors and the Company. I manage the builds, adherence to design, quality of work and undertake regular safety auditing, final inspections and sign off, through to capture of all new assets for capitalisation. I arrange easements and manage post project maintenance requirements.I have a very good and practical working knowledge of the Electricity Act, Electrical Safety Regulations, Electrical standards, ECP’s, SMEI and Health and Safety legislation. I am an experienced Health and Safety Rep. I have a personal goal to ensure that everyone remains safe around activities the business undertakes.I have strong analytical skills and the ability to take an overview of a situation as a whole and move forward with an effective solution.
