I have been involved in plant management since 1994. I have managed or help manage plants with anywhere from 50 to 250 employees within a union free environment. I am as comfortable working with an hourly production employee as I am with a member of executive management.Since 2006 I have been employed near Salt Lake City, Utah for Carlisle Construction Materials. I have worked for Carlisle since 1987 shortly after graduating from Penn State University. My family and I relocated to Utah after 40+ years living in Central PA. We enjoy living in the West.I very much enjoy working in manufacturing and have had quite a bit of success thanks to the efforts of the people in my facilities. I consider myself to have very good analytical skills, but even better people skills. No Plant Manager is successful without having a strong team to help.My goals would be to eventually have responsibility beyond running one plant. I think my technical skills, overall business understanding, ability to manage priorities and workload, strong communications skills and interpersonal skills will alllow me to perform well at a high level in manufacturing management.Specialties: I enjoy working with all kinds of people. I especially enjoy developing younger subordinates and have had a fair amount of success doing this. I find the most rewarding part of my job to be developing relationships with the people I interact with on a regular basis.
