After learning the business world through college courses, I decided to create my own small business after graduation. I wasn't quite sure exactly what I wanted to do in life yet and felt that this would undoubtedly propel my understanding of business concepts that I had learned in the classroom and give me a hands on learning experience like no other. Its been over a year now and its been one of the best decisions that I have ever made. From working manual labor 10-14 hour days in 90+ heat; filling out weekly schedules, advertising, managing expenses, maintaining quality customer service and much more all by myself has truly been eye opening. "Putting in the work" has been an understatement but I truly feel that I understand employers; what they need and want out of employees on a far greater scale. Now that I have a higher understanding of business in my studies and in the field, I hope to bring my skills to a reputable company.

Helped promote sales of small summer camp through means of social media and via email. I also had the opportunity to work the camp as a counselor/guide. This job was very rewarding because I got to teach kids aging from 6-11, outdoor activities such as; fishing, kayaking, hiking, peach picking, and much more. After reflecting back on this job I feel that it improved my marketing skills tremendously. Finally I learned that if you can get 30 kids to listen to you, you can just about get anyone to.
