Production Management

- Managed a team responsible for the delivery of the department's annual operating plan. Key deliverables included controlling the department's operations budget, headcount reduction and achieving sustainable saves.- Deployed key production management tools that kept the department on track in delivering various transformational projects that are focused on process right-shoring (to 3rd party vendors) and offshoring (to Global Service Centres).

Service Delivery, Card & Credit Services

Managed approximately 100 Service Delivery staff both onshore and offshore involved in the processing and servicing of credit cards and unsecured lending of the bank.Key achievements:- Successfully deployed the Target Operating Model (TOM) in Singapore that was aimed at having a single approach to the credit card business globally. - Successfully migrated local job functions to offshore delivery centres with an estimated cost savings of around SGD300k per annum.- Developed and executed a transition plan for a new regional card system that was used as the baseline material for the eventual deployment of this system to other parts of the region.- One of the key subject matter experts (SMEs) in migrating loans/cards operations processes to offshore delivery centres.

Service Delivery, Vietnam

Provided leadership guidance to around 40 operations staff in Vietnam to ensure the country's alignment with "best in class"​ card operations model within the region.Worked jointly with various team heads in achieving:- Process streamlining and reengineering with main focus on significantly improving customer experience and department's productivity.- Achieved 15% cost reduction for applications processing and 30% cost reduction for other loan and disbursement activities by streamlining various processes in the bank's unsecured loans and credit card processes.

Service Delivery, Card Services, Singapore

Managed a team of 30 onshore and 70 offshore operations staff responsible for the daily card and unsecured loan operations of the bank.Key achievements:- Successfully managed one of the bank's key flagship projects "pre-screening of unsecured loans"​ that aimed to increase the turn around time in processing loans and reduce processing wastage. This was considered as one of the region's best practices project (shared with other sites for possible adoption), with an annual cost reduction of around SGD280k.- Implemented straight through processing for unsecured lending via online channel which significantly reduced the turn around time for processing online applications (giving customers an "​in principle" approval of within an hour from time of application)- Kept department cost within cost plan figure of SGD8mio per annum.

Managed a team of 14 operations staff in charge of processing and administering unsecured credit facilities.Key achievements:- Successfully lead the team to takeover a project of staff loans from another bank resulting to a refinancing of around 400 loans with a total value of around SDG15mio.- Designated process specialist in charge of the migration of loan processing to an offshore processing centre in Malaysia. - Part of the acquisition project team responsible for successfully launching the Revolution Credit Card in Singapore.
