Designed a .Net app to resolve Active Directory user-group issues for enterprise security. The company had a long-running issue with token bloat in Active Directory. Designed a solution using VB.Net and the Active Directory namespace to create a user interface that would compare multiple users and create lists of similar and differential groups based on title, team and manager. Using this app, we could easily identify groups to be consolidated and remove extraneous groups. Built a form for security to update a user’s groups in an efficient way for job transfers. Created various functions within the app called by buttons to do group comparisons/add/deletes including a special function to find the base groups for recursive grouping.Designed and built a full stack VB.Net solution for a Medicare Demonstration to track and process prior-authorization requests. Met with users to define requirements for the project, then occasionally for refinement. Designed the SQL database and the VB.Net user interface application. Created SSIS jobs to move data from one place to another or to clean data errors out of a databaseWorked with a consultant to transition our domino document management system to a newer domino web-based product. Learned JavaScript and XML on the fly and created some advanced code to handle special customizations needed for security. Our processes, procedures and security prevented us from being able to use the new tool out of the box, so everything had to be customized. (ie: Document workflow, approval, deployment, updates, etc.)A team was processing thousands of paper forms monthly for user access management and had an abrupt team reduction. Designed and built a solution to replace it using HTML, CSS and JavaScript to create webpages that medical providers would complete and submit. Wrote scheduled scripts (in LotusScript) to read contents from the emails and populate a tracking application in Lotus Notes. The scripts included a lot of error handling to account for everything from spam to incorrect data types.
