Added to my responsibilities was the oversight of F&B for convention center and arena. Purpose was to bring down the company's COG's percentages to industry standards.Implemented culture change in F&B areas of the company to maximize profits, cut waste, and teach staff to be smart about their responsibilities.To date we are operating within the industry standards for COG's throughout the building.

Guest services department needed to be developed and organized for the grand opening of the building in October 2010.Hired a roster of 70 GS staff for traffic control, ticket taking, and ushering.Provided orientation and training for staff before building opening.Selected and trained supervisors for each area of guest services.

Company needed an organized and practical database developed to assist company directors and personnel in assessing current and relevant projects for focus.Formed a database construction team that developed a user friendly, point and click interface loaded with information about the 800+ language groups of Papua New Guinea.Traveled throughout Papua New Guinea researching different language groups assessing ethno linguistic diversity and vitality. Research was implemented into the above mentioned database.

Departments were setup with personnel, operating budgets, and accountability structures.Village allocations were visited routinely and support given for project strategies and progress.
