I train people to hunt for their food using techniques and tactics that are both ancient and current. Weapons employed include bow, crossbow, blackpowder rifle and centerfire rifles. Students learn the safety and ethics of hunting along with techniques for camouflage, stealth and scent control. Students also learn weapons operation, limitations and dangers, hunting from blinds, stands and climbers, as well as stalking techniques. Instruction also covers animal tracking, field dressing and game processors. Course work concludes with food safety, preparation, recipes and safe storage.
