Responsibilities:Guiding clients through payer strategy development, reimbursement analysis and design, contract negotiations, and other strategic and operational issues affecting commercial and government revenue streams -- Enabling clients optimize their managed care portfolios and develop successful value-based reimbursement strategies and contracts. Participation on engagements with providers of inpatient, outpatient, professional, behavioral health, and post-acute services, as well as payers. My engagements are focused in the three areas of: Contracting and Reimbursement; Value and Risk-Based Payment Programs; Payer Services.Activities include: Analyzing, synthesizing and interpreting data to inform client recommendations; Providing financial modeling to conduct in-depth analyses and recommending executable strategies; Performing competitive analysis using price transparency data; Conducting stakeholder interviews; Leading information-gathering efforts; Assisting in developing and managing work plans, schedules, and budgets; Defining project analyses and deliverables; Communicating project progress and seeking input; Developing depth of technical expertise; Identifying follow-on opportunities and helping to scope and close such engagements; Assisting in the design and implementation of recommended solutions; Working closely with multiple project teams and ECG Principals; Taking responsibility for project outcomes in line with budgets and time commitments; Communicating effectively with management and executive-level client staff; Participating in peer and junior staff knowledge development and career advancement.

- Leading the Provider Reimbursement Analytics Team for Health Alliance Plan, subsidiary of Henry Ford Health System, and functions related to fee schedules, payment systems, and decision support. - Provider contracting, servicing, and network relations for self-funded third-party administrator and multi-line managed health benefits products, including: contract language, negotiation, financial analysis, provider enrollment life cycle, and payment system administration. Managing a state-wide network of 125 hospitals and 20,000 providers.
