Direct and administer AEP Service Corporation activities in support of AEP affiliated companies in the areas of economic development, public affairs, local governmental affairs and philathropic giving. Supervise and and adminsiter AEP Ohio outreach into communities in the above identified fields as well as support the efforts of AEP Energy in the Ohio energy marketplace.

Provided economic development, community development, governmental affairs, public affirs and some limited corporate communications support for the company in five assigned northeast Ohio counties. Supervised a Staff Associate position assigned to the department and located in the Canton office.

Managed the Hospitality Segment of the energy market for AEP and all of its operating companies. Promoted energy sales, electro-technologies, and energy services to large national hotel and restaurant chains accross the country. Supervised customer services representatives in all the operating companies assigned to the local Hospitality segment in their areas.

Provided strategic direction for the AEP Residential Marketing Programming. Completed market analysis accross all seven states' residential customer footprint. Developed and assigned load and revenue goals for all AEP operating companies. Assisted in the creation of marketing and promotional programming to help drive greater sales and revenues for the corporation.

Managed large marketing employee group throughout AEP Ohio's western service area. Implemented marketing programming and energy efficiency concepts accross customer base. Provided leadership and stategic support while transitioning into the new Western Region operating division of AEP Ohio.

Managed Ohio Power's Lima Division's Marketing Department, responsible for the promotion of energy effiiciency through more efficient electrical equipment / appliances as well as new construction methods and materials. Managed local advertising and promotional programming.

Assisted customers with electric service installation requests, high bill complaints and other external customer interactions. Promoted the sale and installation of electro-technologies and greater application of energy efficiency products and construction methods.

Managed constituent services, wrote press releases and provided media point of contact, provided legislative support, managed internal and external relationships with interested parties in the legislative process.
