Working directly with the C-suite team, the innovations team, analytics and the wider Homeserve PLC, I worked to provide strategic analysis on current business activity and new propositions to the market. Brought in to deliver a key piece of research for Homeserve's Digital Transformation program. I assessed the transformation strategies of the groups five separate markets, and reported these to the group CxOs.Applying design methodology to assess new products, services, competitors, and emerging technology, I managed complex sets of data and highlighted key actionable insights. Provided key organistational design analysis to the board that led to significant changes within out department. Working alongside the analytics and engineering teams, we worked with GA360 re-sellers, wrangled key data metrics and sources, and built in automated solutions for future reporting.

Working in a freelance capacity for this start-up, I supported the c-suite in their organisational development requirements. Additionally, I consulted with the senior team with other start-ups and entrepreneurs within the technology space. The client ran a ‘soft-landing’ programme offering SMEs from Asia the opportunities to develop their companies in the UK. I worked directly with the CEO and managing director, helping to structure their, organisational design, value proposition, product offering and go-to-market strategy. Partnering with the team, I also provided business strategy mentoring and coaching to the cohort. The companies who come for our programmes were mainly energy technology, artificial intelligence, smart cities, and other emerging technology sectors.

Ethnographic Researcher – ‘Cranford Stronger Together’ ProjectConducted qualitative fieldwork on the small housing estate in West London. The project focused on the relationship between community and wellbeing. Initially, quantitative and social network data were collected to highlight people and groups who might be struggling. My role within the project was to spend time with some of these people and collect data on their lives. In particular I concentrated on individuals who struggled with mental and/ or physical disability alongside people who lacked a sense of community on the estate. I also organised and ran focus groups with community groups on the estate and attended and contributed to meetings with the project directors from the local council. It was key to the project that the ethnographic data carry the message of the people on the estate, rather than being lost in the numbers.Research Assistant on the ‘City Growth Commission’I supported the research leads on desk based research, literature reviews and supplied written analysis for three report publications on topics such as university growth and student retention. I also supported the research lead in running and chairing focus groups.
