Exploring how the existing retail data can be used to highly personalize a retail customer experience - Customer Genome. A perspective that focuses on customer-centric design integrated with large-scale data systems and algorithms.- Identified retail personalization business opportunities. Worked with industry experts on the current state of personalization and identified areas where technology advanced could drive a richer experience driven by more advanced data utilization and analytics. - Developed personas and new desired customer experiences powered by personalization. Worked with team of user experience researchers and designers.- Developed Spark-based data platform and application interface to support desired personalized customer experiences. Worked with a team of data platform and application architects.- Develop a library of customer-centered data approaches. For example, content-based filtering approaches for product personalization, customer drop-off prediction and daypart analytics to inform timed experiences. Worked with analytics team.- Piloted deployments of several personalized experiences with large clients across several industries (food and beverage, fashion, grocery retail, travel) across several geographies (NA and APAC).

Exploring how an enterprise can use employee data and new "gig" style coordination to drive work efficiency, work product quality for our delivery teams while providing an avenue for skill development and recognition for our global team.- Defined a vision and stage-gated approach with clear line of site to scaled deployment for an internal “gig” solution. Worked with and coordinated a strategy across multiple business stakeholders.- Identified key requirements through interviews with target user profiles including workers, managers, IT, and other identified users. Prioritized features and geographic expansion based on usage data (SQL-based).- Built, deployed, and studied new service playing the role of researcher, software engineer, and manager in an agile, iterative program. Program still operates globally and continues to connect thousands of hours of productive work each month between those who need help with those who want to help.
