Created and lead the execution of an organization-wide IT strategy. Efficiently managed day to day departmental operations and 5 direct employees in a unionized environment. Insured all operations and solutions were in compliance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).Notable Duties and Accomplishments-Led the technology and solution architecture for a 9 agency partnered project to receive the Diamond award of Excellence at Showcase Ontario (largest public sector IT event in Canada).-Developed a standardized IT support infrastructure to increase efficiencies, streamline change management processes including Service Level Agreements (SLA), minimize hardware and software issues and meet each departments’ needs.-Created operations to allow 90% of IT support to operate remotely.-Efficiently established new programs and set up new offices in as little as 2 weeks with use of new technology, effective communications, accurate setup data entry and reporting.-Spearheaded committees to build agency wide Intranet. -Cultivated trusted relationships with partner agencies, senior management, funders and Board of Directors.-Represented the IT Department to senior management and the Board of Directors.
