Dave Askin is a Enjoying retirement!. Colleagues describe him as "I've known and worked with Dave for almost 15 years. This was when Dave first got involved with becoming a Project Manager. Since that time, I have seen him become the top Project Manager I have ever had the pleasure to work with over my almost 40 years in the industry. Dave is constantly steady and focused with his positive attitude and drive to get the job done. No detail or task is too small, and his ability to monitor and manage multiple projects of any size and diversity is uncanny. He has personally grown and trained a staff of individual Project Managers from all disciplines that also turned out to be exceptional Project Managers. This is all because of Dave's personal attention, his professionalism, and his ability to deal with people of any personality. He understands the need for processes where warranted, yet is able to identify and change those that are not needed or those that are non-complimentary to what needs to get done. His past experience as a Technical Manager has provided him the opportunity to see and understand the entire Product Development Life Cycle from many angles. This allows him to bring opposing views together to successfully work out compromises. He was also instrumental in bringing Agile processes into Siemens/Unify while minimizing the impacts to ongoing commitments. Without continued support from Dave, many of the successful products that we launched would never have gotten out of the gate! All-in-all, if I was ever in a position to need a Project Manager, Dave would always be at the top of my pick-list."
