As an Associate Director in the Energy Practice at Guidehouse (formerly Navigant), my primary role involves managing evaluations to measure the impacts attributed to residential energy-efficiency programs. I have over ten years’ of experience evaluating utility programs and researching sustainable and energy efficient technologies. I am also one of Guidehouse's most experienced simulation modelers and use such tools as EnergyPlus and DOE2 extensively to assess end-use consumption and energy-efficiency technology impacts. In addition, I have led cost-effectiveness evaluations and managed market research relating to spill-over and free-ridership. These skills, complimented with me being a Registered Architect, LEED Green Associate and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), allow me to bring a unique offering in the energy industry through my extensive background in sustainable design and construction practices.

As a Managing Consultant in the Energy Efficiency/DSM Practice at Guidehouse (formerly Navigant), my primary role involves evaluation and analysis of the impacts attributed to residential energy efficiency programs. Currently leading multiple impact evaluations utilizing a strong skill of energy modeling to derive estimated program savings. Other roles include cost-effectiveness testing and leading an effort to measure the market transformation of residential new construction programs with the use of a Delphi panel. I am also a Registered Architect, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and licensed Contractor with an extensive background in sustainable design and construction practices.

As a Senior Consultant in the Energy Efficiency/DSM Practice at Guidehouse (formerly Navigant), my primary role involved evaluation and analysis of the impacts attributed to residential energy-efficiency programs for both new construction and existing homes. I gained experience as an energy modeler with such programs as eQUEST/DOE2 and EnergyPLUS and have used these tools extensively to assess end-use consumption and energy-efficiency technology impacts. I also lead multiple cost-effectiveness evaluations and was involved in market research relating to spill-over and free-ridership.

As a Consultant in the Energy Practice at Guidehouse (formerly Navigant), I provided analytic support and evaluated the energy impacts of HVAC systems, lighting, and residential appliances for utility programs. I was involved in market research and conducted interviews with industry experts relating to design/construction methods along with various building systems that are currently applied in the field.

Responsible for coordinating subcontractors for multi-million dollar residential remodels. Facilitated meetings with clients to discuss building process, expectations, and budget. Involved in all aspects of construction from concrete, framing, trim carpentry, and cabinet manufacturing.

Responsibilities included all phases of architectural services including conceptual design, construction documents, and construction administration. Worked directly with clients to design affordable, aesthetically pleasing, and environmentally sensitive solutions. Utilized 3D modeling skills to assist in the visualization and design development of desired concepts. Also designed and created company website along with company portfolio.

Involved in the design and construction of residential projects. Gained project management and supervisory experience by planning and delegating daily jobsite activities.
