I have 20+ years of operational, sales, business development and management experience in the technology, security and software marketplace. My experience includes commercial, financial, utility, government and enterprise business, as a manufacturer, integrator, project manager and service provider. I have successfully coordinated national and international business on both sides of the border for Canadian and US based companies. Prior to joining DNVGL, I held the positions of Business Development Manager & Sales Manager at G4S Canada and Encom Wireless Data Solutions, where I was responsible for creating and implementing sales and marketing strategies throughout Canada and the US. Through this experience, I have developed solid customer relationships, achieved through a strong focus on technical knowledge and customer service-oriented ideals. I was also the Director of Sales (North America) for Trio Datacom. In this role, I prepared commercial and technical proposals for customers and/or tender specifications, negotiated and finalized contracts, traveled extensively through the US and Canada for sales presentations and field visits, and provided marketing development and implementation for the oil and gas, water/waste water and utility market segments. Previously, I held a Sales Representative and Sales Manager position for Westcan Wireless.I have engaged in extensive professional development programs, including Myers Briggs Sales Training and Sandler Sales Training, as well as technical and sales training in a range of wireless and communications technologies. I am also deeply involved in local minor sport programs, where I continue to be involved as an Executive Board Member for Minor Hockey and have previously held roles as a Director, Referee In-Chief, Assignor, and was a officiated hockey for 28 years.
