Facilitator for the Department of Labor Veterans Employment and Training Services Transition Assistance Program. In this role, I was responsible for:• Guide military Transitioning Service Members and spouses in developing their individual goals to ensure successful civilian careers.• Provide forma Employment Workshops and Career Technical Training to groups with up to and individual career counseling.• Educate Transitioning Service Members and spouses on the workplace, jobs, and requirements for entry into those jobs.• Ensure Service Members and their families have the necessary career tools and information to seamlessly transition into the civilian workforce.Through the Department of Labor we conduct job assistance workshops, employment counseling, and employer outreach.

As the lead Logistical officer, I was the principal staff officer responsible for maintenance, transportation, and supply and services for the organization. I was responsible for developing a logistical support framework. I maintained accountability for operation and maintenance funds. Other duties include coordinating supply activities with higher headquarters and with supporting services and preparing and coordinating supply SOPs and directives. I also planned, coordinated, and supervised the logistical effort. I also was directly responsible for: Developing support plans for current and future operations. Establishing the requirements for civilian labor and the collection and disposal of excess property. Conducting operational and tactical logistics planning to support mode operations. Coordinating with the human resources on transporting replacement personnel.Coordinating the requisition, acquisition, and storage of supplies and equipment and the maintenance of materiel records. Coordinating with the local agencies for support contracts. and host nation support requirements. Monitors priorities assigned to requisitions by battalion units and monitors submission of requests to supporting supply activities. Consolidates requisitions submitted by subordinate units, as required. Receiving supplies and establish schedules for issuing, and issues supplies, as appropriate. Established and maintained liaison with supporting services and activities to expedite supply matters. Prepares and supervises the maintenance of organizational property records and accounts. Acts as the primary POC for all contracting requirements within the organization.

Medical civil engagement officer for the Kunar province Agribusiness Development Team• Managed incoming casualties, first aid, and security training for Camp Wright personnel. • Advised host country medical providers on medical cases and referrals to NATO medical facilities; provided public health education.• Served as mass casualty coordinator for numerous high-volume patient care incidents • Led a seven-person civil affairs medical team assigned to manage the healthcare of 550 U.S. personnel and local Afghan people; coordinated emergency medical care with an emphasis on public health and pediatric medical needs in austere conditions with limited resourcing.• Administered emergency medical treatment, limited primary care, force health protection, and evacuation in a variety of operational and clinical settings from point of injury or illness through the continuum of military health care. • Maintained adherence to safety procedures during medical training; supervised field operational safety.• Responsible for the supervision, training, safety, welfare, professional development, and combat readiness of eight soldiers• Ensured the operational readiness, accountability, and maintenance of medical supplies valued at over $1,000,000. • Responsible for coordinating medical support to base security, base defense, and subsequent mass casualty incidents. • Participated in multiple civil affairs missions providing medical aid and supporting civil governance assistance to the Afghan people. • Awarded the Army Commendation medal and the U.S. Navy Achievement medal for exceptional performance of duties as Combat Medic in Afghanistan.

Medical Treatment Officer for the NATO HQ and Tuzla Eagle Base Medical Clinic. In this role I provided operational medical support, assisted physicians and physician assistants with garrison and operational medical support in austere environments; provides emergency Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support along with routine care; assists with accountability and serviceability of medical supplies and equipment valued more than $12 million. Performed a variety of specialized tasks involving medical readiness and physical exam activities and providing medical triage and treatment.
