Responsible for directing and advancing the development and continuous refinement of the behavioral and mental health hospital’s business development plan and cultivating opportunities that meet the increasing needs of the communities we serve. As a new, free-standing, 72-bed state-of-the-art behavioral and mental health hospital, Willow Creek provides a variety of acute inpatient and outpatients services to children & adolescents, adults, and seniors.

Under the limited supervision of Tribal Administration, provided leadership and oversight of the Forest County Potawatomi Health Division. Collaborated with Tribal Administration in the development and implementation of plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and staffing designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the health system in order to meet the needs of the Forest County Potawatomi and surrounding communities.- Responsible for strategic and operational oversight of the Health Division consisting of a multi- specialty medical clinic, dental clinic, pharmacy, long term care/assisted care facility, AODA outpatient facility and a public health service.- Advanced the continuum of care resulting in the accreditation as a patient-centered medical and dental home.- Collaborated with other government divisions to streamline programs resulting expenditure reductions and revenue generation. - Created an environment where a culture of accountability and professionalism could be supported and driven forward.

Reporting to the CEO, was responsible for the leadership of 6 rural health, certified primary care clinics and specialty physician services as well as the development of professional/ancillary services. Key participant in organizational strategic planning, planning and implementation of Epic EMR, process improvement, and community partnership development.

Provided interim management solution at Fairview Red Wing Medical Center. Provided oversight for primary care clinics and consultation on primary/specialty clinic leadership structure.

Directed the operations of one-third of the 27 medical clinics throughout Minnesota and South Dakota. Co-lead the strategic restructuring of the organization’s medical model of care and developed systems designed to improve patient access and financial performance. Facilitated various key operational and clinical initiatives within the organization. Participated as an integral member of the core team is selecting and implementing a hybrid practice management system and EMR.

Provided leadership and direction to Central Pediatrics, PA., a twelve physician independent pediatric practice with multiple locations. Conducted organizational assessment and engineered turnaround of the organization’s financial performance. Developed and implemented organizational compliance initiative.

Responsible for the operations of a 28 provider, multi-site internal medicine based practice with supporting specialties of cardiology, nephrology, optometry, podiatry, chiropractic, massage therapy, and mental health services. Developed and enhanced an integrated, group-based medical model of care. Restructured the clinic (and processes) to be better positioned for the future. Implemented revenue re-design initiatives to enhanced business results.
