Manage operations of the shuttle services for the university.Manage CDL drivers in an union environment to meet the day-to-day needs of students, faculty and staff with safe, reliable transportation of shuttle buses. Ensuring all operations are DOT and FMCSA complaint, maintaining current documents of all drivers, HOS regulations are upheld. COVID-19 modifications implemented to ensure safe transportation for all riders and drivers.

Fundamental and core strengthening techniques to develop young athletes from the middle school and high school levels into collegiate prospects

• Supervise, train, and recommend disciplinary action for 200+ drivers in a union environment • Use of Best Practice to advise, coordinate, direct and manage multiple divisions of the Giant Eagle Global Transportation Network during the overnight hours including OK Grocery, Butler Refrigerated Meats, Talon Integrated Logistics & Three Rivers Ice Cream, and American Seaway Foods • Interpret company core values to achieve results while maintaining timeliness, efficiency and safety throughout the Giant Eagle Global Transportation Network • Strengthened understanding of safe driving techniques by completing Smith System driver training courses • Spearhead the development of new strategies to implement standardized accident reporting procedures to be utilized across all divisions • Motivate team member compliance of FMCSA, DOT and OSHA regulations and initiatives by entering log adjustments and giving positive feedback for following procedure • Decrease costs by minimizing empty miles, recovering backhauls, delivering back-lanes out of other divisions, and performing reverse logistics • Communicate with warehouses regarding routing optimization, cube utilization, and on-time deliveries • Develop and mentor employees at OK Grocery and Fresh Food Manufacturing into company assets • Coordinate and implement start-up processes and procedures for Small Delivery Network system • Establish and maintain positive relationships with individual store owners and managers
