My focus in life is building strong relationships through servant-leadership. My background as a CNC Machinist & Programmer prepared me for being an empathetic sales leader in manufacturing. My experience as a Pastor and Police Chaplain reflects my passion for helping people. My career has not followed a straight line. I’ve made mistakes and have regrets. I’m also grateful for my life and have been given way more than I deserve. My wife and I have been married 22 years and have five kids. They all still live at home with us and we are loving this season of life with them. We go camping and hike a lot. We especially enjoy hiking in the Pacific Northwest. The local church has been, and always will be a central part of our lives. I follow Jesus. I am a recovering addict. I spend a fair amount of my free time with other men in recovery. Their humility and transparency inspire me. I love music, and have a small but awesome vinyl collection.I’m a sucker for other people’s old crap. Especially if there’s a story behind it. One of my dreams is to restore an old car with my son. Restoration has been a major theme of my life, and I think this would be super cool and costly. Restoration is always costly, but can be beautiful.I love writing and aspire to write a book someday. My current job is the hardest job I’ve ever had but I’m starting to like it.I turned 50 this year. I don’t like that. You will not find me on social media. I quit a couple years ago and I don’t miss it. Manufacturing is in my blood. Both of my grandpas were manufacturing engineers. My dad was a maintenance engineer in machine and welding/fabrication shops his entire career. While I never aspired to follow in their footsteps, I loved my time as a machinist and programmer, and have always felt at home around machines.I love networking and meeting new people. Meeting like-minded professionals who live with integrity is always a win for me.If you took the time to read all this, thank you!
