Ovato Limited provided print and printing services across Australia and New Zealand.JD Edwards was introduced when PMP/Ovato moved to a shared services model for all financial services in Oct 2003. They had numerous MIS systems for their manufacturing operations that interfaced to and from JDE as well as having three instances of JDE. The PMP JDE 8.12 instance was used for all group financial reporting for both management and statutory reporting.Ovato has gone through some major restructuring over the past 5 years, including a merger with another major Print/Print Services company in 2017 and, more recently, the split up and divestment of a number of businesses, as well as business closures.This has involved some major changes within the finance systems that I looked after.In July 2022 Ovato was placed into voluntary administration and has subsequently ceased operating. I worked with the Administrators to help close off remaining issues, including Accounts Payable/Receivable, until all remaining Ovato staff departed in December 2022• System administration, development and improvements of all JDE modules within the PMP 8.12 instance of JDE• Maintain, develop and test all data interfaces between external systems and JDE.• Manage the integration of the Accounts Payable imaging and workflow tool (Oracle IPM) and JDE• System administrator for other financial systems including – PMPCommerce (internal built procurement system), Promaster (credit card expense management), NAB Connect/ANZ Transactive (banking system), LOIS (Lease Management) and Create!form

Welvic Australia was a PVC compound manufacturer which was formed out of the sale process of Australian Vinyls. The management team, which I was a member of, had a brief to ‘get the business into shape’ so that it could be sold. During an 18 month period the performance of Welvic was ‘turned around’ such that it became a profitable business. The major shareholder (Orica Australia), who had previously wanted to sell the company, ended up purchasing the total business from the other joint venture partner.• Responsible for the management of all I.T. within the business (including the JD Edwards One World business system, Lotus Notes, Sophos Anti-Virus, network administration, backups and all hardware)• Improve the cost competitiveness and performance of our major raw materials (PVC resin and Plasticisers) through strategic purchasing.• Responsible for 7 staff (Materials Controller, Production Planner, Warehouse Manager, 4 x Storemen).

Australian Vinyls was a PVC resin and compound manufacturer which was formed as a joint venture between Auseon and Orica Australia. I was seconded onto the JDE implementation team due to my procurement and compound manufacturing expertise.• Member of the project team who were responsible for the implementation of the JDE One World ERP business system after the creation of the joint venture. Analyse all business processes and use the implementation project as a tool to introduce major change to the organization to bring about ‘best practice’ processes. After the initial implementation, the project team was responsible for driving improvements in business processes.• Team Leader for all Sales & Distribution processes• Responsible for the implementation of the Inventory Management, Sales Order Management and Purchasing modules and the integration of these modules with the Financial and Manufacturing modules.• After the implementation, review and incorporate process improvements on a continuing basis• Design and deliver training programs for all Sales & Distribution modules and the Foundation module.• Backup System Administrator for JDE One World.
