This required designing and implementing an aggressive recruitment strategy for skilled labour. We were able build strong relationships with clients as a dependable labour source. I created a training database to ensure workers stay current on their certifications as safety is a critical piece to our business. We are working towards achieving our COR classification.

As the Director of Sport I am responsible and accountable for working with the 19 Sport Commissions and 25 Athletic Associations in coordinating the effective organization of the sport specific services and events leading up to and including the Provincial Championships. Working with the member schools, Sport Commissions and Athletic Associations and other stakeholders, I am accountable to ensure the success in the organization of BCSS and supporting student-athletes’ participation in high school sports.Key Responsibilities:1. Develop partnerships between BCSS, Sport Commissions, Athletic Associations, Event Hosts, Provincial Sport Organizations and other stakeholders in regards to Provincial Championship events and sport specific services. 2. Make policy and procedure recommendations to the Executive Director. 3. Implement sport policy as established by the Executive Director, and the membership. 4. Lead member of the development of marketing, communication and promotional plans.
