Designed and built all infrastructure pieces needed to deploy a greenfield ecommerce solution. Created a mobile application, backend dashboard, and micro services which were used to communicate back to the e-commerce solution. Used node, express, mongo, and angular, to execute on the product vision. Developed a mobile application for android and IOS using nativescript, and angular 4 which allowed suppliers to manage their inventory on our site. Built a micro services architecture using express, node, mongo, and mongoose, including a backend dashboard to manage users, orders, and products built using angular 4. Wrote extensive unit tests which allowed us to confidently deploy code frequently to our production servers. Created deployment architecture using Docker, and Rancher, which allowed for zero downtime deployments onto digital ocean droplets.A part of Hearst Lab and Techstars '16.

Drove major changes to development process, including implementing scrum process, quarterly planning, unit testing, and an overall change in development culture. Managed 3 different teams of developers, including 20 direct and indirect reports and 2 managers on a cloud application suite. Built team from 6 developers up to 20 in a short time period. Inspired team members with a passion for developing software the right way. Drove predictability, and enhanced delivery of major new rewrite to existing document management system. Moved existing client application from Angular 1.6 to Angular 4. Implemented client architectures for event busses, services, caching using observables, and generics creating a maintainable elegant code base. Drove implementation of a new Rest API layer using Express.js, Mongoose.js, and MongoDB, with a RabbitMQ layer for file processing.

Work with database administrators and network administrators to perform the one of the largest system upgrades ever done on the software used by the state of New Mexico taxation and revenue department. Interface daily with developers and administrators to check status and progress of software upgrade along with performing the necessary tasks for the database upgrade. Troubleshoot current production problems and performance tune batch processing.
