Ucl Careers

At UCL, my focus has been providing specialist careers support to a number of departments: Maths, Stats, Earth Sciences and the Institute of Risk & Disaster Reduction. Key achievements include:- building awareness and capacity of the UCL Careers Graduates provision from it's inception to it's current position supporting over 1500 recent graduates annually. Our work supporting 6 undergraduate departments with persistently high-levels of unemployment resulted in a 58% decrease in student unemployment through a combination of outreach work, workshop delivery and intensive 1to1 careers support.- embedded careers work within the MSc Management course delivering regular workshops, 1to1 coaching support and employer events to 100+ students resulting in a 97% graduate level work outcome after 6 months. Our work was recognised by AGCAS receiving the prestigious ‘Careers Service / Academic Partnership ‘Award, one of 12 national awards given out annually.

Responsible for producing an interpreting key performance indicators in relation to the agency's commercial performance including staff resource utilisation and client account profitability.Achievements include:- creating a bespoke management information database to produce monthly reporting metrics incorporating client account staff resource plans, time sheet and revenue/ expense information.- implementing a round of monthly review meetings with client account directors to analyse staff resource utilisation and account profitability positions.
