Hey, I'm David (or Dave) — a freelance creative developer for planet and people friendly projects. I work with forward-thinking organisations to create effective websites that are fast, inclusive and low-carbon by default.After learning how to build my first website in the '90s as both a creative outlet and a curiosity with technology — I soon realised I'd stumbled into a career I hadn't planned but absolutely love. Now, over two decades later, I've refined my expertise whilst working with a wide range of organisations from agencies and startups to well-known brands and charities.I primarily work as a creative front-end developer. Crafting beautiful and functional user interfaces is what I enjoy the most, but during my career I’ve picked up a multitude of skills spanning development, technology, design and product management.My main focus is building carbon conscious websites and digital experiences for purpose-driven businesses. I love working collaboratively to build design-led websites and apps that are equally accessible to all people, from the ground up.
