Hi, I am Dave Cortez Chan, permanently living at Las Pinas. I graduated from TUP Manila and took up Bachelor of Technology major in Automotive Engineering Technology. My career as Service Coordinator started 3yrs ago with Es Print Media Inc, a company that caters large format printers. I know my profession was far from the career that I have right now but I took the courage to try for me to gain not only work experience but also new skills. Though, I do have skills as an automotive engineer from the training I have during our ojt, it became hard for me to look for the job that is related to my profession since I didn’t have any long experience and expertise.On the other hand, I would like to highlight my work experience on my past job. I am a Service Coordinator and a Chat Support. What I usually do is more on providing good customer service to clients. These are by assisting and monitoring our technicians, making sure that we are giving the service that our clients needs and providing answers on our client inquiries thru our social media accounts. For the past years working here, I’ve learned the importance of providing good customer service and satisfactions to the clients for it helps to boost and contributes to our company’s market & sales. Also, I am a currently Purchasing Assistant in Natural9 Corporation in Tambo Paranaque, I usually Source and buy materials, goods, and services on behalf of the employer to be resold or used in daily operations. Maintain stock levels, and may also conduct research, negotiate with vendors, and interview prospective suppliers. As a Purchasing Assistant my strength is Acquiring a possible supplier that is beneficial for the company and also negotiating with the supplier to get a discount or terms, follow up status of orders and deliveries to supplier I am also able to work in the field to purchase an immediate request; Able to learn quickly, demonstrate flexibility and persistence; Can work well both independently and as a team.In here, I can say that I became a dedicated and hard working person to the work and experience that I have. It’s just that I came to the point that I want to look for more opportunities and work challenge where can I enhance my skills and gain new knowledge that will also help contribute to the company.
