Software Development Engineer In Test 2
Microsoft
I joined Microsoft in 2005 as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) on the SharePoint Services team. During this time, I experienced the many processes and standards involved in shipping features within a large organization like Office. I was fortunate to work on high visibility features such as the Ribbon command bar, sharing and collaboration features within the OneDrive for Business space and SharePoint’s transition to the cloud SharePoint Online (SPO). As an SDET, my role bridged the gap between design and actual implementation of the product code, ensuring the product worked and provided the best user experience. Daily responsibilities included writing test automation in C# and JavaScript, testing and being the user advocate for numerous features across different SharePoint teams until late 2014.
