I led a portfolio of capital works and infrastructure works projects for Melbourne International Airport, Tullamarine. The programs/projects, I had delivered included a range of critical airport infrastructure upgrades, refurbishments of existing spaces and new builds. The role involved delivering end-to-end strategic & tactical solutions to APAM - Australia Pacific Airports (Melbourne) for their complex projects.

The role included delivering major capital projects as a principal client-side project manager as well as directly managing projects for the Buildings and Property Division of Monash University. The key responsibilities included:Executing diverse construction projects, undertaking all the responsibilities necessary to complete the design and site coordination for mechanical, plumbing (MEP), building services, civil and allied works.Managing cost, project budgeting and cost forecast including controlling buffer and contingency costs.Directing and leading risk management plans by creating risk registers and risk mitigation plans. Understanding the big picture and using schedule crashing and fast-tracking techniques. Understanding changing business environments & effectively implementing change management plans. Efficiently driving meetings, communicating and de-briefing various teams and concluding the design review, commercial and joint project meetings. Reviewing contracts and negotiating revisions and additions to agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors. Effectively leading difficult situations and conflict resolutions.Being the superintendent of the projects, responsible for managing safety and OHS. Building a strong OHS focus work environment and being accountable for all mandatory codes and compliance. Along with delivering major construction projects, I was also responsible for leading and delivering several strategic & innovation projects at Monash University. These critical business programs included multiple internal process improvement initiatives, change initiatives and re-modelling of various service delivery models.

I successfully managed strategic programs which were highly crucial for the organizational strategic plans. The C&W- project management team manages the project starting from the project cycle beginning till the successful handing over of the project/ facility. Involved in building services packages (MEP) which include HVAC (high-side & low-side), diesel generators, plumbing & firefighting, IBMS, building façade, irrigation & waste/sewage water treatment, vertical movement systems (elevators), building traffic & parking management.
